Join us for Placer Plug-In Day, a free community event celebrating National Drive Electric Week and California Clean Air Day.
Hosted by Placer Earth Care Action, the event will feature new electric vehicles available for test drives, a display of EV models, and EV owners on hand to answer questions and share their experiences.
What to Expect
- Test drive electric vehicles and explore different EV models
- Connect with EV owners and learn from their experiences
- Hear from speakers about electric cars, electric bikes and home electrification
- Visit a community resource fair featuring local organizations and partners
- Get information and application assistance for the Driving Clean Assistance Program (DCAP) from the Health Education Council
DCAP-eligible community members can learn about available incentives and clean transportation options, including assistance toward the purchase or lease of an eligible new or used plug-in hybrid, electric or fuel cell vehicle, along with potential charging support.
The event also celebrates California Clean Air Day, a statewide effort encouraging Californians to take simple actions that can help improve air quality and community health.
